How does it work?
The LearnDash Course Chat add-on adds a discussion tab directly on the front end of your online course, allowing students to reach out to their instructor directly. Students are only able to communicate with the instructor minimizing distractions.
On the other hand, instructors can access all their private student conversations from the single chat box in the discussions tab, providing a better management experience for real-time conversations.
If instructors are not available in real-time for all of your courses, or if you are simply offering live discussions for specific courses, you have the option to enable course discussion for specific courses only.
