We would like to introduce you to the LearnDash Progress Reset Add-on that allows you to reset LearnDash course progress for selected users and groups. When course progress is reset, the add-on will delete all existing course data and mark completed courses, lessons, and topics as “incomplete” for selected users.
The new add-on gives you access to the following features:
Resets for Single Users:
- Allow resetting the progress of the specific user from all courses and groups.
- Allow resetting the progress of all the users enrolled in the specific course.
- Allow resetting the progress of all the users enrolled in the courses of a specific group.
Resets for Multiple Users:
- Allow resetting all the progress of all or multiple users from each of their enrolled courses and groups.
- Allow resetting the progress of all or multiple users enrolled in the specific courses respectively.
- Allow resetting the progress of all or multiple users enrolled in the courses of specific groups.
Single Combinations:
- Allow resetting the progress of a specific user enrolled in the specific course.
- Allow resetting the progress of a specific user enrolled in any of the courses of a specific group.
- Allow resetting the progress of all users enrolled in the specific course that belongs to the specific group.
Multiple Combinations:
- Allow resetting the progress of all or multiple selected users who enrolled in the multiple selected courses.
- Allow resetting the progress of all or multiple selected users enrolled in the courses that belong to the multiple selected groups.
- Allow resetting the progress of all or multiple users enrolled in the selected courses that belong to the selected groups.
Use Cases
- When a student fails their final exam, you can reset their course progress to allow them to retake the course.
- If your students accidentally marked a course as complete, before going through the content, the add-on will allow you to reset their progress.
- Reset the progress of a group of struggling students who need to reinforce the material by re-taking the course.
- Reset progress for students that interrupted their learning journey for a long period of time and wish to re-start the course fresh.
